P6 Eco Tidy

While the P7's have been practising for their leavers service, P6 helped our Eco committee by having a playground tidy.

P7 day out

The boys and girls in Primary 7 had a great day out on Friday enjoying lots of activities at Clydebank Leisure Centre.

Muddy obstacle race

For once the rain was welcome, as it helped to contribute to a wet and muddy obstacle race.

Clydebank High School visit

Yesterday with a visit from the PE department at CHS, they were giving the pupils a taster session in netball and dance. The children loved it.

Football team

Great job last week with our football team.

Drama

The children have been learning about various drama techniques with our student teacher Miss Harvey. Here they are creating someone being lost in the woods and had a "thought alley" to discuss what feelings they might be experiencing.

Rotary Club Quiz

Well done to Mark, Ian, Tommy, Max and Ryan for a putting in a great team effort participating in this year's Rotary quiz. Not only did they demonstrate excellent general knowledge but they also exhibited fantastic behaviour and lovely manners. Go Linnvale!

Bring your pet to school

Having worked hard to gain a good token, Rebecca chose to bring her pet dog Willow to class. Both Willow and the children were very excited but they behaved very well and the visit was a great success.

Greek mythology

After earning a gold token for trying his best in class Max chose to be the teacher and taught us a lesson on Greek mythology.

Litter Pick

As part of our Eco week activities, the three P6/7 classes went on a litter pick along the canal and in the play park. We recorded the type and amount of litter we found and carried out data handling activities in class.
